What is it?
Wire mesh is added into the glass. Available in float glass or obscured.
Why is it used?
Safety and fire resistance (discourages draughts and prevents the spread of fire).

Doors and windows of commercial buildings e.g in schools, hospitals, Glass panels of fire exit doors
